GESTRUG

The GestRug software has been developed as an elaboration standard external interface for the most important portable measuring instrument of SM production, (also for the new RT-80 Roughness Tester. It is supplied with a Functions Set suitable for a basis roughness analysis. It is easy-to-use, and above all for its high availability to be interfaced with external applications. This is possible through the various data export modes supplied by the exclusive SM conversion system.

2 – Remote Management:

Measure Start with Automatic Display, or Display only. *
Memo data Display
Display and Setup of Print Heading for PR10 printer. **
Automatic reception of data or measure parameters at the end of measure with data destination selection. *

3 -Display and Setup of measure Results in graphical format or table one. Magnification capability in order to display with a better detail the profiles characteristics.

4- Further Analysis of acquired profiles, with comparison or graphical overlap respect to de referring one.

5 – File Management based on “codes”; every code can represent the id of a processing type or user and contains the related acquisition data. Backup and Recovery feature; Data export in the following formats:

1. .DAT (Internal format based on text type, for the interchange between different workstations (Only measure data).
2. .TXT (Internal format based on text type, with separation character comma and period. (Measure data or roughness parameters)
3. .MDB (Database Microsoft Access data type) (Measure data or roughness parameters).
4. .XLS (Microsoft Excel worksheet format (Measure data or roughness parameters).
5. .DBF (Database DBase III / DBase IV format) (Measure data or roughness parameters)
6. .HTM (HTML document format) (Measure data or roughness parameters)
7. .WMF (Windows Meta File image format) (Profile graphs)

6 – Statistics Management based on “codes”; at every code a series of statistical data is automatically assigned. For every series you can calculate: maximum and minimum value, average, and standard deviation. Activation and deactivation of statistic mode. Data Export in the following formats:

1. .TXT (Internal format based on text type, with separation characters (comma and period) (given by measure or roughness parameters)
2. .MDB (Database Microsoft Access data type) (Measure data or roughness parameters).
3. .XLS (Microsoft Excel worksheet format (Measure data or roughness parameters).
4. .DBF (Database DBase III / DBase IV format) (Measure data or roughness parameters)

7 - Reports Print.

8 – Memory data management with the possibility of selecting data to print. Backup and Recovery of data acquired, insertion of the data acquire in Statistic Mode, data export in the following formats:

9 – Calculation of Portance Curve (Abbott) and Ordinate distribution. Display of Portance Curve with cursor driven interactive graph, in order to display percentage and depth corresponding values.

10 – Many integrated functions selectable or not for software data integrity control and maintenance.

11 – Screen Selectable Image Capture capability; you can choose from Entire Program Window, Data Window, Graphs Window, Portance Curve or Ordinate Distribution, Profiles comparison. The captured images can be saved on disk or redirected to the printer.
